I'd be down for user-hosted events, but there would be a lot of hurdles. They'd have to be approved by a moderator at the very least, and ideally supervised the entire time by a moderator. People who want to host events would HAVE to have aged accounts (by a few months or a year)—there's no other way to avoid massive waves of bots trying to use this new avenue to create phishing scams. There's already enough of those creating projects and DMing people.
