Automatically notify applicants when a role is filled/closed
Dan Goyette
Something I hear from applicants is how they'll typically apply to a role, and then never hear anything else about the role, even after someone has been chosen and the role has been closed.
In order to give some closure and peace of mind, it seems it would be helpful if a message was sent to people who had applied to a role, informing them that the role was filled. Then they don't need to keep guessing/hoping/wondering if they'll get the job.

Honestly, I feel like if you get the Job you get notified and if you don't I personally just write a short message myself as a comment. 😅 But not being chosen is a big part of the VA Life. So if you are really dead set on something specific, it may be easier to just keep on the Look out yourself. But it would probably be cool as a toggleable feature.

Respectfully, I totally disagree. Many people submit tons of auditions a day, and will book maybe 5% if they're lucky. If someone is that invested in a specific project, then they should be able to keep tabs on it of their own volition. Now as an optional feature that's off by default? Sure go nuts!

Good idea, especially if it can be selected / deselected. Sometimes you DON'T want to be distracted just to be told "You didn't get it."
