Feature Requests and Bug Reports

I've already made a post about this, as have many other people, but CCC really needs some sort of verification system or Captchas in order to get this giant influx of bots off the platform. I'm sorry for making another post about it but this is to showcase how badly it needs to be addressed. I absolutely understand that it's not feasible to program features in a quick fashion and I totally get that it takes time. But at the same time this problem continues to crop up and it REALLY drags down the platform as a whole. I think this should really be a priority for the team. It's always a similar pattern with these bots, then the problem is taken care of for a bit, and then they switch tactics and the problem comes back again. I literally just published the newest iteration of my project last night, haven't even Featured it yet with my membership to get it further up on the list, and yet by this morning I already had SIX submissions from bot accounts. Right now, the pattern is that they always have a brand new account, they always give a Google Drive link with AI-generated art, and the same stock AI-generated message they seem to put in the submission message often seems to have the word "inspiring" in it. (see screenshots below). Again, I apologize for making another post about a similar topic, but the fact of the matter is this seriously needs to be taken care of. I'm paying $30/month for the majority of my submissions to be bots/spam and that's not really worth it. Buford, or whoever deals with this side of things, I would really appreciate it if this is given priority, and I know other would as well.

I find the concept of favorited roles a lot more helpful than favoriting the entire project, but in practice both things just link to the project page as a whole. It can be really tedious to navigate to the characters you favorited, especially if the names are generic and you have poor short term memory or favorited several of them from that same project. Since it's possible to link someone a specific role when you share it, why isn't that version of the URL the one that favorited roles use?

It has happened to me a number of times now, that I leave a 'project comment' under a clearly fake / scam project (in some cases the same people who have tried to scam me), in order to protect the other CCC users, only to get blocked by the project owner and lose all access to the project details, comments, etc. It still shows up in the list of projects with open roles, but when I click on it, I am redirected to the search page listing a number of open projects again. There are certain project owners who keep posting the same scams over and over again, but because I tried to warn others, I simply got blocked, and my hands are now cut off. It would be great to have an opportunity to appeal being blocked - especially in the case of trying to expose a scammer - or at the very least, a way to easily report or 'flag' projects that are not legit. The scammers post the project, wait for us to write comments warning the less experienced CCC users, and then block all of us in one fell swoop, deleting our comments, and carrying on with the scam. We are then unable to comment on all future scams as well, because we were blocked.

It's good for both who want to challenge themselves and good for who want to play it safe or search for obscure projects

Hi, I'm new to the site and I just discovered that I accidentally closed my recent project as "complete" while trying to evaluate an audition. I'd like to know if it's possible to reopen the project? I managed to repost the project, but all audition submissions and followers were removed. I would appreciate any help.

there should be a filter when searching for new projects, the "dont include" filter only works if what you put is in the title, there should be a button or setting to have 18+ requirement projects not show up in search results

It’d be nice if you could include your location / time zone on your profile, as not all VAs on CCC are from the US.

I find it a bit rude that every now and again I come across a project that lists the bare minimum of things and doesn't even list roles, but instead it just says "Send a demo reel to this email and join our discord server" . That is pretty much like a copmany that steals and sells people's email to ad agencies. If people are going to be here, they need to use this site for auditions and main communication and then tell us about discord servers after we're cast. Heck I even pointed a guy to my profile to see my demo reel there and he whined that he could not see it. I later realized it was because he never even bothered to log in. Just modkick these people and warn them. If they keep it up, delete their account. They aren't paying anyway.
