Some sort of "Flagging" system for potentially fake projects
CCC is an amazing site, but recently over the past 1-2 years, its been flooded by fraudulent creators. They make projects daily looking for character impersonations (Leo the lizard, Patrick from Spongebob etc) and then silently close the projects just to make more and harvest more copyright free auditions, presumably to feed into their AI learning systems and create hybrid voices that belong to no one legally. 2 separate times now these people have created fake "Make A Wish" projects (one's on the front page right now) looking to help out some made up child. "Birthday messages for Alex!" etc, offering up 500 bucks or what have you. It's clearly too good to be true nonsense, but everyone wants to help out kids, so they audition without thinking. Of course these project creators have no actual ties to the organization - no official socials advertise them and they have no contact info listed to confirm their legitimacy whatsoever - so of course they should be deleted promptly - or at least, you'd think they would be, but we understand that the mod team is busy. To help this along, if we could flag potentially fraudulent projects for moderator review, which would display a warning on said project until a mod can check it out, it would be a huge help. All we've been able to do is email the mod team and report the user themselves, but not before they've harvested plenty of unwitting actors, writers and artists' hard work. Obviously, this is a system that could be abused, so it would require diligence on behalf of the mod team to make sure things are on the up and up and that bad actors (turn of phrase) are not flagging things they have some personal beef with.
