Feature Requests and Bug Reports

Whenever you are in the My Submissions page and click a character it will bring you to the actual project instead of the audition for that character (Character Name > Project Page). While if you click the project title it will bring you to the audition (Project Name > Audition). I think this is backwards and should be fixed to Character Name > Audition and Project Name > Project Page. Should be a simple fix, but I don't know coding and stuff so who knows haha.

When searching projects, there should be an option to only show projects that have open roles. Additionally, on the project search page, there should be an indicator next to each role saying whether it's open or closed.

Hi - been having this issue for awhile so not sure if it's just me, but when I hover my mouse over the left hand column nothing under the "for talent" section highlights and lights up, so I'm unable to click those links. 50% of the time, nothing under the Open Projects header works either :( I'm using Firefox on a Macbook pro running Ventura 13.6.2 I can pretty much access everything from that menu in another way, except for seeing the short list of prokect I wanted to audition for. While this cop-out message, which appears in lieu of scripted content, can be helpful in identifying lousy auditions, I think it'd be better to foster a culture of "If you can't get a simple CCC audition page together, you shouldn't be producing a project that consumes other people's valuable time." Make them enter actual text, or come back when the project's gotten that far.

Hey guys! I think it would be a cool feature to have where two people use the same account efficiently. Similar to how YouTube does with playlists and whatnot.

There needs to be a method to mark artists who do not complete projects. Nothing is more frustrating than casting someone who abandons a role. Looking at their history does not help. It shows if they were cast, not if they completed it. There must be some way to leave public feedback on an artist. And a producer. It should go both ways.

When a role that you audition for has been casted to someone else, it should automatically mark your submission as dismissed. It’s currently hard to track which roles have been casted and which ones haven’t been manually marked as dismissed by the casting director. It makes auditioning less of a shot in the dark.

Remove a submission count if a submission was deleted, it makes it seem that there are more submissions than there actually are and accidental multiple submissions wont count to the full amount

On mobile especially it's so buggy and I can't even send a chat message without it clogging my screen. EVERY TIME I log in there's "Someone just viewed your profile" like FIVE TIMES in a row. Why is there no way to get rid of it?? I highly doubt it's even accurate considering "views" are probably from people who are simply reviewing auditions. I'm pretty sure Buford himself has bragged about it as a sales tactic and honestly it feels really scummy. I've seen and heard people complaining about it but I don't think Buford has gotten the message, so I really hopes this reaches him. Just - I don't know, move the pop-up? Don't make it last so long? Make it so that it doesn't last forever on the screen? Enable "don't show these types of notifications anymore"? Please?

I find it a bit rude that every now and again I come across a project that lists the bare minimum of things and doesn't even list roles, but instead it just says "Send a demo reel to this email and join our discord server" . That is pretty much like a copmany that steals and sells people's email to ad agencies. If people are going to be here, they need to use this site for auditions and main communication and then tell us about discord servers after we're cast. Heck I even pointed a guy to my profile to see my demo reel there and he whined that he could not see it. I later realized it was because he never even bothered to log in. Just modkick these people and warn them. If they keep it up, delete their account. They aren't paying anyway.
