I often come here to find talent for my mods and rare audio readings. As a result, I've developed a system in the bio of the casting call. (Description, link to existing example of the project if applicable, voice requirements, audition requirements, etc etc.) However, it seems most people stop reading at the end of the Description part of the bio. This has caused a lot of trouble for both me and the auditioner because, when they don't read the Audition and Voice Requirements that I list in the bio of the casting call, they often submit an audition that is grounds for immediate disqualification (Hissing, pops, background noise, poor mic quality are just to name a few disqualifiers). I've even been cussed out by one voice actor because I disqualified him and he didn't understand why because he didn't read the Voice and Audition Requirements. I think it would be a really good idea if you guys implement a check box that someone MUST check when they attempt to submit an audition that reminds them to read the full bio of the Casting Call for anything that is remotely similar to requirements for both Voice and Audition requirements. This, itself, would void a lot of future potential confusion and make us, the Directors, jobs easier as it will lessen the amount of poor auditions that we have to sift through...
