Leaderboards
Nathan Wilson
I'm putting in my two cents.
I dislike the leader board concept. Are there awards we can give instead? Like from both sides even. Talent can rate the creators interactions, and vice versa?
I fear this will invite negative behaviors. A comment below wishes to be able to delete comments, and that seems like it plays into the most chatty award. That alone feels like rolling my face in the keyboard and sending it. Points for me, yay!
Hmmm, ranting. Basically there would have to be qualifying rules for these to be applicable.
Most submissions send to cater to who has been here longest, unless you implement seasonal leader board, and this seems to detract from the environment I would like to be part of. I feel I'm not alone in appreciating what this site is already, and not wanting to make it a competition, more keeping it a talent pool.

So I have to assume that this is mostly meant to raise interaction with the Site but honestly these just kinda dont work IMO. It will mostly lead to people trying to be the Number one of this list but that aint adding depth to what they do, but will instead take away from it.
However, In general I feel like a public system that maybe showcases stuff like received recommendations instead of given for example would furthermore help with actually making people give them. 🤔 Atleast hopefully. I feel like to the current list there aint much Point tho the Idea could have potential.
But again, from other sites I know public leaderboards often lead to bad behaviour for the artificial gratification of being on top.
Tho I dont wanna appear negative.

I'm also not that excited about this list idea. The chatty and nicest person part, especially. Quite a few vas (me included) actually want public comments on auditions and upvotes on auditions to go away. Comments on the main project to ask Qs and recommendations are useful.
People filling out their casting calls properly (description, character info, audition lines) and having to wait until their deadline to cast is more important for many.

Not to be the Debbie Downer of this idea, but I can't see a point to literally any of these other than incentivizing people to potentially bloat or hunt out things
Leaderboards make sense in games, and while I'm not familiar of how they're handled in social media platforms, (assuming this idea even comes from another one...) who on Earth is actively checking the list of "most achievements" or "chatty"? (Ironic to my name!)
I feel a better way to go about this would be to just list these statistics on an individual's profile, rather than as a whole board. I doubt most creatives are on the site to be saying "man this guy sure has the longest streak" than they are to just be doing their own thing all around
