Lock Pay after Posting
Stephanie Varens
If a project states it will pay a specific amount for a role, prevent the pay from being altered after it is posted. It’s unfair to those who have auditioned to see a drop in price after the fact. While they can always turn down the work, they may not have auditioned in the first place. It’s also sometimes done without a comment or explanation from the creator, and it seems unfair and deceptive.

I've also seen some projects list as paid and then they bump it down to "zero payment" while still being listed as paid. This is a great idea.

Meredith Nudo: Yeah. Seen that a lot, too. It's super scum moves.
