Some P2P websites have this function, but getting a notification for being shortlisted on a project (like when you get upvoted) would be a nice touch.

It seems unnecessary to show the casting process of the casting director- but I do like this as an optional feature. Maybe it can be further extended to include a private conversation/chat feature where casting directors can ask for more retakes without needing to publicly comment or have to use their limited private messages (for free members) in order to contact shortlisted auditions.
